Kalamaja tänavakoer Žorik oli vabahing, kes kuni kõrge eani eelistas tänavaelu. Elas mingi aja ka Arsenali keskuse piirkonnas, kus kohalikud teda toitsid.

Skulptuur avati 4. oktoobril 2020.a, ülemaailmsel loomade päeval. Mälestusmärgi valmistas Skulptuurikoda OÜ kujur Kain Rezev.

Monument to the legend of the Kalamaja region - the dog Zhorik. Žorik is a legendary dog, because he is considered the last stray dog in Tallinn. For more than 10 years he lived on the street in the Sitsi-Kalamaja area. During these years, he managed to avoid being admitted to an orphanage.The dog was first seen as a puppy in a coal yard at the local port about 12 years ago and has since been considered an integral part of the area.He spent his last years in a private home and died in January 2022 at the age of about 16.The monument to Zhorik and all stray dogs was erected during the life of the hero, in 2020 with public money. At the feet of the dog, a local sculptor placed a figurine of a cat, with whom Zhorik was very friendly.In February 2023, the dogs were insulated with scarves.
