Reindeer in different shapes. You can also buy reindeer products at a reasonable price.Good sized portions, not too big. The price is ok 👍 there are also fish dishes.The tapas plate was a good appetizer with different fish and good bread. Tight atmosphere, you should reserve a table in advance.

Small restaurant, but even in high season no reservation was needed. Ordered today’s fresh catch, which was perch and mashes potatoes. A simple dish, and it was delicious 6/5. Interesting decoration in lavatory. A christmas tree in Easter. Maybe it is there all year.

After a recommendation from a local about the restaurant, we went to visit it, so the restaurant specializes in moose meat. Most of the diners were local, we ordered a hamburger from the menu (theWe ordered the hamburger without cheese and butter) the hamburger was perfect the meat was juicy the taste was rich the hamburger accompanied with chips is highly recommended. In addition, we ordered a steak that came with mashed potatoes and it was also perfect. The steak arrived without unnecessary fat and was juicy, soft and not dry, and its grilling was perfect. For dessert we had elk meat sausages which were also delicious. In short, those who are in the area are highly recommended to come

If you want to eat traditional food, this is the place for you. The quality of the food is good, but it has become a bit touristy. For example, we missed the malt bread on the table. If you are looking for more authentic food, we recommend the “northern lights rance”. But it is a good restaurant for traditional food. The ambience is very nice with a lot of attention to detail. There are many reindeer menus here and there is a menu for vegetarians. I had a fish tapas platter and when it was served we were told what kind of fish/preparation it was. We had great service.

Go here if you are a reindeer meat virgin. At Nili-Poro they serve reindeer in every possible way. I got the entrecôte and it was more than delicious.

A wonderful restaurant with very friendly service. We had a reindeer steak and it was sensationally delicious. So good that we went back the next day. Highly recommended!!!!

As tourists visiting Finland for the first time, we greatly enjoyed our dinner here! My friend enjoyed the reindeer and they even had a vegetarian option, all of which was delicious.

They do not accept reservations, at least in high season. Restaurant specializing in local food based on Rudolf meat and similar products. The delicious roast reindeer, falling apart with the fork, is accompanied by several roasted root vegetables that are also delicious. As a starter we ordered some varied “tapas” consisting of various sausages and cuts, we will say special, accompanied with a little bread and three strong mustard sauces, a red fruit sauce and a third that I couldn’t say with something green (which wasn’t dill). They have three desserts, I chose the Lapland cheese one and I recommend it to everyone who likes cheese. It is a typical cheese from the area along with raspberries and sweet hot milk. Along with two local beers 103 eur.

The food was very tasty. Just a little expensive by German standards. The platter of various reindeer meat cost €28 and the burger cost €27. Nevertheless, I can really recommend it. The ambience is also really nice.

Nicely decorated place, very atmospheric. The staff was really friendly and the mash and sauces were the best I’ve ever eaten. The portion is just the right size, at least for me. Appetizers really taste good.

Went in the summer. Cosy, warm and rustic. Service was friendly. Small menu with local delicacies (always rather a restaurant with a limited menu they specialise in than one with mediocre extensive options). They serve bread and butter as appetiziers and the bread is delicious, very pillowy and soft.If you come to Levi, you have to give this place a try. The traditional poronkäristys (sautéed reindeer) was sliced thin and very tender, salty, the barest bit gamey and easy to eat. The lingonberries were a great accompaniment that cut the saltiness. The pickled cucumbers were very salty too. Not my favorite in terms of flavor or texture but definitely a good traditional experience.The burger was delicious, very tender, juicy and robust. The fries that came with the burger were amazing! Crispy and golden on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The crispiest and best fries I’ve ever had, like they stayed crisp even after the meal was over. The meatballs had a fun, chewy texture and were moist, tender and full of flavor. It’s amazing how they can all taste so different.Had to return to try the steak and I was not disappointed. An honestly perfect dish. The medium rare reindeer steak was ridiculously tender and well prepared and seasoned. Allowed me a more unadulterated taste of reindeer. Surprisingly mild and not heavy at all. I much prefer it to beef. It was very juicy and delicious and I can’t stress how soft it was. I’ve never had steak that tender before. The creamy sauce was luscious and silky, really delicious. Lingonberries cut through the creaminess with some sweet tartness. The potatoes were so creamy and the roasted vegetables added nice crunchy and robust, earthy flavors. 10/10 I’m so happy I went back to try it despite the steep price. It was honestly worth it.The portion sizes are all very satisfying too. Thank you for the great experience.

One of the good restaurants visited in Finland. You enjoy delicious reindeer steak here. If you feel reindeer too cute to eat, then you can go for seafood choices here. Recommended to book in advance to avoid queue. One of the must visited place is their restroom 😂

They have a variety of reindeer dishes available. The large reindeer tapas plate with additional french fries worked as a great dinner for the two of us. They have good quality wines as well.

Since there are no reservations for less than 6 people, we were lucky to immediately be seated at a 2 pax table. Few of the other patrons had to wait for a short while. The atmosphere is very nice with local ambiance. Folk songs playing softly adds to the atmosphere. The service was very polite, always with a smile. We had to wait to order a bit because the place was so full but not too long. We ordered raindeer meatballs, steak of the day (sirloin), chocolate cake for desert (the server did me a solid by putting blackberry ice-cream on the cake! Thank you!) and it was all incredibly good. My wife who usually doesn’t like stuff on the first try loved everything too, this is high praise indeed! I didn’t even specify ow the steak should be cooked (first time trying raindeer, what do I know?) and the chef’s choice was a perfect medium rare. The sauces were awesome, even the mashed potatoes were great. A Chianti for the lady and a dark lager for me were the drinks of choice. Prices were as expected, we payed close to 100 eur for the 2 of us. All in all an excellent evening, very highly recommended!

The food was amazing. As it’s our first time trying reindeer meat we were worried that it might not taste good. But everything we ordered was sooo delicious. Perfect combination with pickles and red onions. The food experience was awesome. However it took quite long to get the menu after we sat down. Other than that, the food was fast served and staff was friendly.
